Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake Fundraiser

The Streetsboro Rockets Bands is having a Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake fundraiser.  All proceeds will help go to the purchase of our new equipment trailer.  

The Ice Cream Cake Coupons are $30 each and redeemable for 1 – 10” Round Ice Cream Cake from either the Streetsboro or Brunswick Dairy Queen locations.  The coupons are good for the standard ice cream cake made/decorated to order or out of the freezer.  (Blizzard cakes are not included)

For every coupon we sell, the band gets $10!


These cakes would be great for Mother’s Day!

Clean out the Band Closet Event

We have some older Spirit Gear sitting in bins and it is time to Clean out the Closet. All items are just $5 each and would make great stocking stuffers. All designs with size availability are listed below.

To place your order, email streetsbororocketsbands@gmail.com with the styles and sizes you need. You will get a confirmation email back that they are/are not still available. Once confirmation is made, payment can be made via CheddarUp or by check to Streetsboro Band Boosters. A link for payment or the address to mail the check will be provided with the order confirmation. All payments must be received within 5 days of confirmation and/or prior to pick-up or the inventory will be made available again for sale. Pick-up will be at the Streetsboro Dairy Queen during the hours of 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6 during the Dine to Donate event unless alternative arrangements are made.

Band Updates 10/7/2020

The Marching Band has been given permission to present a socially distanced band concert in the Stadium on Wednesday, October 21 at 7 p.m. Tickets will be distributed to students. A ticket is required for entry!

Today is the Dine-To-Donate Fundraiser at Chipotle on Route 14 from 5 – 9 p.m. You must tell the cashier (if ordering in-store) that you’re there for the Streetsboro Band fundraiser. You can order online and pick up in-store and it still counts. Reminder — your online ordering code is: PFV83H8

SHS Band Announcements 3/1/2020

Good Afternoon SHS Band Families, 

Please join us for our 2nd Annual “Festival of Bands” Concert this Wednesday, March 4th 7pm @ SHS Auditorium! This is a combined concert with the SMS Bands and SHS Concert Band. It will be a nice evening with great music! Come support our band students 🙂

SHS Band Announcements 2/23/2020

 Our next Disney rehearsal is this Friday 2/28 2:30pm to 3:30pm. 
On this day there are several things that are DUE and need to be completed for the trip:

  • Mandatory Uniform Accessory Turn-In *immediately after rehearsal*
    • Students will prepared garment bag for travel. Please check what needs to be submitted in a labeled plastic bag.
  • FORMS DUE: Medication Authorization Form / Emergency Medical Form / Extended Stay Form

Marching Rockets 2020 Disney Trip Shirt

Greetings Marching Rockets Families –

You too can now order a Marching Rockets 2020 Disney Trip T-Shirt.  Winning design below created by Freshman Kevin Murphy.

Prices are $15 per t-shirt and if you wish to have a name added on the back, it is an additional $4.  (Shirts for marching band members going to Disney will be ordered separately by the Band Boosters at a cost of $5 per student.  Do NOT order your marching band student’s shirt via this website.)

All orders must be received no later than Friday, 28-February to be received in time for the Disney trip.  (The website says 23-Feb., but okay until 28-Feb.) Orders placed after that date will be received once we return from the trip. 

Show everyone at Disney that you are with the BAND! 

Proceeds from these t-shirts will be used to help off-set the cost of subsidizing the t-shirts for the marching band members attending the trip.
